2023 Horizon Irish Open & BMW PGA Championship Ticket Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

By entering this promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in full. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.

The promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 or over at the date on which they enter the promotion, excluding employees of Legends Hospitality (UK) Limited (“Legends”), its group companies, its agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion (including those who work at the Horizon Irish Open 2023 or BMW PGA Championship 2023 who are in anyway involved or affiliated with the Event and/or the DP World Tour) and any member of their respective immediate families.

Entry opens on 00:01 (BST) on 21st August and closes at 23.59 (BST) on 28th August (UK time). Entries received after this time and date will not be eligible to win a prize.

2. ENTRY TO THE PROMOTION

To enter the promotion, you will need to make a purchase on https://shop.europeantour.com/ and enter either of the codes below at checkout.

Only one code can be used per order and each code can only be used once per customer.

3. WINNERS

Two winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries on 29th August 2023 by a randomised computer programme.

The winners will be notified by email (using the email address submitted by the entrant in their online entrant form) and will be asked to respond to the email within 24 hours confirming acceptance of the prize.

4. THE PRIZES

There are two prizes available to be won. The first prize for one winner consist of two (2) entry tickets to Horizon Irish Open 2023 on 7th September 2023 – 10th September 2023 (the “Event”). The second prize for the second winner consists of two (2) entry tickets to BMW PGA Championship 2023 on 14th September 2023 – 17th September 2023 (the “Event”). Please note that each prize only includes the two (2) entry tickets to the Event and does not include any other costs or expenses in relation to attending the event (meaning that, for example, travel, accommodation, food and beverage and any other expenses shall be at the sole cost of the prize winner)

5. CONDITIONS

In the event that Legends is unable to contact a winner within 24 hours of the relevant draw, Legends reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner selected at random.

The prize will be transferred to the winner's My Tour account a minimum of 24 hours before the start of the event. If the winner is unable to set up a My Tour account or doesn't already have one then we will be unable to transfer them and another winner will be chosen.

No cash alternative. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be resold and must only be used by the winner and a personal guest of the winner. Legends reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Legends, the prize will only be awarded to the winner.

Each winner agrees to take part in reasonable publicity as may be required by Legends in respect of the promotion.

No entries from agents, third parties, syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices are permitted and no bulk entries.

All costs and expenses not included within the prizes are the responsibility of the winner(s).

Legends reserves the right at any time, in its absolute discretion, to:

(a) verify the eligibility of any participant (including their age and place of residence);

(b) disqualify any participant found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the promotion or entering using fraudulent means, or who Legends believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions;

(c) disqualify participants who do not give correct contact details or those who make an entry on someone else's behalf; and

(d) disqualify any participant posting an entry or a comment to a relevant social media page that is, in Legends’ opinion, inappropriate, offensive or upsetting to other participants, fans of Legends, the DP World Tour or contrary to applicable law, and to remove any such entry or comment.

6. LIABILITY

The promotion is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook (or any other social media platform). Participants acknowledge that Facebook (or any other social media platform) shall not have any liability to them in connection with the promotion.

Subject to paragraph 6.3, if Legends fails to comply with these terms and conditions, it will be responsible for loss or damage participants suffer that is a foreseeable result of Legends’ breach of these terms and condition. Legends is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

Legends shall not be liable for: (i) any failure to comply with these terms and conditions as a consequence of events beyond its reasonable control including without limitation, any failure of communication networks and any failure for the Event to take place as a result of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Legends and/or the DP World Tour; and/or (ii) any loss of profits, loss of revenue or other economic loss or any indirect or consequential loss.

Except as otherwise required by applicable law, Legends accepts no responsibility or liability for any entry or claim which for technical or other reasons is unsuccessful, incomplete, lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected.

7. GENERAL

Legends reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the promotion or to amend these terms and conditions at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.

All personal data submitted in connection with the promotion will be processed by Legends for the purposes of administering and managing the promotion and the award of prizes (where applicable) and verifying the eligibility of a participant. Legends is committed to protecting the privacy of all participants. Data that is collected from or about participants will be used in accordance with Legends’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which can be found at: https://shop.europeantour.com/pages/privacy-policy

By entering the promotion each participant gives Legends permission to publish their surname and county of residence if they are a winner of one of the prizes unless the participant notifies Legends that they do not wish us to make these details available. Please note that Legends will nonetheless be required to provide the names of all prize winners to the Advertising Standard Authority if requested to do so.

Any images are an illustrative example and do not show the exact prize(s).

The promotion and these terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and participants can bring legal proceedings in respect of the promotion and these terms and conditions in the English courts. Participants living in Scotland will also benefit from any mandatory provisions of Scottish law and can bring legal proceedings in respect of the promotion and these terms and conditions in either the Scottish or the English courts.
